Presidents Retreat

August 2-3, 2019

Sponsored by Northwestern Mutual

Meet chapter leaders from across the country to share ideas and solutions

Learn how to grow your chapter and develop your members

Explore Milwaukee, Wisconsin with fellow college students and create long-term relationships

Join the elite group of chapter Presidents to gain insight on how to effectively run and manage your chapter, have the opportunity to ask chapters from around the country about best practices, listen to guest speakers and be challenged to become a more successful leader.

Students: PSE will provide for your hotel at the Hampton Inn Friday and Saturday (arrangements will be made on your behalf), dinner both Friday and Saturday night, as well as Saturday breakfast and lunch.

Can’t go? It is highly encouraged that a representative attends from every chapter. Presidents who are unavailable that weekend should be proactive in finding someone in the chapter that can make it. This event sets up your chapter for a successful year and is a one of a kind event. (One representative per chapter)

Flights should be booked to arrive at the General Mitchell Airport in Milwaukee, WI on Friday and depart on Sunday. You will need to provide your own transportation to and from the hotel.

If possible, attendees are encouraged to arrive earlier during the day for a one-on-one session with your Chapter Consultant. This is your chance to ask any questions you may have specifically about your chapter’s operations.

When to Arrive: The dinner event will start at 5pm on Friday, August 3. Arrive earlier in the day to receive a one-on-one coaching session with your Chapter Consultant.

What to Wear: Friday evening – Please appear presentable, as we will be meeting with corporate partners who sponsor dinner. Saturday dress is business casual. If you are interested in exploring Milwaukee after Friday and Saturday’s events, you may want to bring additional clothes to change into.

What to Bring: Notebook to take notes on and any questions for PSE Headquarters and volunteer leaders.

  • It's a great way to understand the value of PSE and to received the motivation it takes to have such a high position. I would recommend it for any future presidents that wish to leave a legacy for their chapter.

    Jake Rahn, Southern Illinois University
  • Attending President's Retreat was the single best thing that I could have done for my chapter. We are at a make or break point and I feel that attending this Retreat gave me the tools necessary to elevate my chapter to the next level. I cannot wait to get back to campus and share everything that I have learned with my members.

    Taylor Jennings, DePaul University
  • The pse presidents retreat is an excellent opportunity for students to join together and share ideas as well as work collaboratively to solve problems. It provided me with extensive information that will help my chapters executive board catapult our members into a successful career as an elite professional.

    Sarah Cook, Kent State University
  • President's Retreat completely opened my eyes and took anxieties off my shoulders for the upcoming semester. I came out of the weekend with a complete new outlook on Pi Sigma Epsilon as a national organization and with so many new ideas to implement in my chapter. I am a much stronger leader and person because of what I learned at this conference and it was one of the best experiences of my collegiate career.
