Friday, April 9th Pro-Am Sell-a-Thon Agenda
This
PSE sales competition runs all day on Friday (8:30 am –
5:00 pm). The professionals
and collegians are teamed up for the preparation of a ten-minute
sales call. They will work together for about two hours.
The schedule for the day is as follows:
8:30AM - 10:30AM - Coaches/Judges only
• Review of the Miller Heiman Sales Process
• Introduce the case study
10:30AM - 12:00PM
• Introduce student participants to the coaches
• Students work with coaches to prepare for sales call
2:00PM - 5:00PM
• Pro-Am competition
• Students perform once and receive immediate feedback on DVD.
5:00PM
• Reception for students, coaches, and judges
~ Videotapes will be reviewed on Saturday.
~ Winners will be announced at the Saturday night banquet.
On Saturday, a select group of judges will
review and score the DVDs of the finalists and choose
the winners. The winners will be presented at the National
Awards Banquet.
Coaches/Judges should arrive at 8:30
am. At 10:15
am, the students and coaches will be brought together, introduced and paired up.
2010 NATIONAL CONVENTION PRO-AM REGISTRATION:
REGISTER
TO PARTICIPATE: Students and Coaches/Judges must
register to participate. By registering, you will receive
all of the information that you need to participate.
Students must register
by February 15th to compete. Competition will be limited to
80 students on a first come, first
serve basis, 11 of which qualified by taking first or second
place at the regional conference. Students will be taken on
