Past President–Dr. Don Norris
Don is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Miami University and
is Faculty Advisor to the Gamma Gamma chapter on campus. Don is
a three-time recipient of PSE’s Top Faculty Advisor Award
and a Director on the National Board of Mu Kappa Tau. In his time
away from the world of marketing, Don is an avid baseball fan and
is a personal friend of Bud Selig.

Finance Vice President
- Elisa Gilbertson
Elisa ia a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a BBA
in Accounting and Finance, an MPA with an international emphasis,
and has passed the CPA exam. While at UW-W she was a member
of the Beta Gamma chapter for almost five years and served in
a variety of positions including VP-Finance, VP-Communication,
and President. She was also the coordinator of various service
projects, including FAT: Fish-a-thon and the Paddleboat-a-thon.
Elisa is currently employed as an auditor with Weaver and Tidwell,
LLP, a regional accounting firm based out of the Dallas-Fort
Worth Metroplex. She enjoys working with a large variety of
business clients located throughout the South, helping them
to improve on their financial statement presentations. Besides
work, Elisa also enjoys running, reading, and exploring what
Texas has to offer!

Executive Vice President -
Lee Melancon
An alumnus of the Beta Xi chapter at Louisiana State University,
Lee holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology specializing in English
and French, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication specializing
in Advertising and Marketing and a Master of Mass Communication
with specializing in Public Relations and Marketing from Louisiana
State University. He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Philosophy
from the University of New Orleans. He has served 5 years as Alumni
Advisor for the Beta Xi chapter, is Past President of the Deep South
Alumni Association of PSE, and is a two-time recipient of PSE’s
Top Alumni Advisor Award. Lee currently serves as co-chair of the
PSENEF National Awards Program and is a founder of the PSE National
Alumni Association.
Lee is the Associate Director of Academic Affairs for the University of Phoenix
Louisiana System and is a Partner for MPower, a Management
Company serving clients in NonProfit (Community Service and
Association), Municipality, and Microbusiness Segments. As
the ADAA, Lee oversees the operation of the Academic Affairs
staff and department, managing the expectations and vital
factors of the University. Lee instructs in the graduate and
undergraduate programs in Marketing, Management, E-business,
and Communication. He has also served as a curriculum developer
for the University of Phoenix in the Bachelor of Science in
Hospitality Management and Business Communication. Lee also
serves as the acting Executive Director for the Microbusiness
Enterprise Corporation of Ascension, a small business entrepreneurship
center. Lee is a nationally recognized speaker as a public
relations practitioner for the National Alliance of Children’s
Trust and Prevention Funds and the Louisiana Children’s
Trust Fund.

Educator Vice President–
Dr. Lynnea Mallalieu
Dr. Mallalieu teaches in the professional selling and sales management area.
She serves on the board of directors for Cape Fear Sales and
Marketing Executives, the SMEI chapter in Wilmington NC. She
also serves as the faculty advisor for Delta Tau, the Pi Sigma
Epsilon chapter at UNCW.

Alumni Vice President–
Linda Peterson
Linda Peterson is currently the Director of Community Service
at Maasai Institute—a charter high school in Milwaukee.
In her position, she is responsible for bringing community
resources to the school. Prior to Maasai, Linda was the Director
of Alumnae Relations at Alverno College. Prior to taking this
position, she held Major Account Manager positions for SBC
Communications, Lucent Technologies and Entre Computer Center.
Her sales career spanned twelve years focused mainly in the
public sector serving K-12 school districts, city and county
governments in Wisconsin.
Linda was a founding collegiate member of the Delta Omicron
chapter of PSE at Alverno College in 1989. She served as its
first VP of Finance and subsequently as President. In 1991,
she received the Tony Whan Scholarship from PSE and the Lewis
F. Gordon Scholarship from SME-Milwaukee. She is currently
the Chapter Advisor for the Delta Omicron chapter.

Professional Vice President– Sarah
Baker Andrus
Sarah serves as the Director of Academic Programs for Vector Marketing Corporation.
She manages the company’s academic outreach and philanthropy
programs, and directs external communications, including public
relations for the recruiting side of the business. A Lifetime
member of PSE, Sarah is proud of initiating Vector’s
partnership with the fraternity and it’s sponsorship
of the Pro-Am Sellathon.
Before joining Vector, Sarah worked in student services and
career counseling at the University of Maryland and Widener
University, placing nearly 1,000 college students in part-time
and permanent positions. Sarah holds both a bachelor’s
degree and a master’s degree from the University of
Maryland. She has a special interest in career issues, job
search strategies and staff development, and has written and
spoken extensively on these issues.
In addition to her work with Vector, Sarah designs one-of
kind jewelry and is an active volunteer with several community
organizations in Wilmington, Delaware, where she lives with
her husband Brian and sons, Samuel and Ethan.

National Secretary – Trenton Haack
Trenton works as the Director of Qualitative Research with Burke Incorporated,
an international marketing research firm in Cincinnati, Ohio
while residing in Washington, DC. Trenton earned his MBA from
George Washington University with a concentration in International
Business. He is an alumnus of the Gamma Gamma chapter at Miami
University and has served as the chapter’s Alumni Advisor
for the past 8 years. Trenton is a three-time recipient of
PSE’s Top Alumni Advisor Award and is the National Secretary
of the PSE National Council.

Professional Vice President
- Michael Van Grinsven, CLU
Michael is the Director of Field Recruitment for Northwestern
Mutual Financial Network. He and his team of consultants advice
Northwestern Mutual’s field management on strategic and tactical
issues regarding career recruitment as well as the company’s
thirty-five year old sales internship program.
A Life member of PSE, Michael has
been a frequent PSE workshop speaker. He has motivated and educated
thousands of sales and marketing professionals, students, and university
professors regarding market demographics, career planning, and the
fantastic opportunity in the sales profession. He has authored campus
recruitment and Generation X articles in Best’s Review, GAMA
News Journal, Market Facts from LIMRA (Life Insurance Marketing
Research Association) and Sales & Marketing and Management magazine.
Van Grinsven joined Northwestern
as an intern in 1984 and was a national Top 10 intern in sales in
1986. Upon graduation he became a full time associate and College
Unit Director. Michael was recruited to the Home Office in 1988
and was promoted to the Officer position of Director of Field Recruitment
in February 2002.

Professional Vice President - Erik Hauser
Erik Hauser founded Swivel Media (www.swivelmedia.com) in
early 2000 with a goal to transform the way people experience
brands. Seven years later, Swivel is among the world leaders
in experiential marketing. The agency’s expertise ranges
from interactive and virtual media to brand development. Swivel
also advises their clients on business strategy and is known
for its unique work developing innovative marketing programs
in both real and virtual worlds. As executive creative director,
Hauser has overseen the development and deployment of uniquely
engaging and effective programs for a host of prestigious
clients, including Wells Fargo, EPSON, Careerbuilder.com,
Oracle, Chevron/Texaco, kajeet, TiVo, CNET, YAHOO, Mervyn’s,
Samsung and AT&T Broadband.
Hauser has become an acknowledged thought leader because
of his groundbreaking work with virtual world platforms in
addition to all other forms of emerging media that create
positive brand experiences for his clients. Erik was the first
to step into the world of Second Life and similar metaverse
platforms as early as 2004 on behalf of his clients. His work
with Wells Fargo’s Stagecoach Island, a virtual world
to teach fiscal literacy to young adults, has been published
in numerous international press outlets and major domestic
media such as TIME, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fox News and National
Public Radio.
Hauser is the founder and director of the International Experiential
Marketing Association (IXMA) (http://www.ixma.org).
He is also creator and moderator of the Experiential Marketing
Forum (EMF) (http://www.experientialforum.com),
an online discussion group of industry practitioners, clients,
students and educators. Since its inception in 2004, the EMF
has grown to a registered membership base of over 4,000 people
in countries and sovereign nations around the globe.
Hauser is a published columnist and contributing writer to
several marketing and advertising industry publications and
websites. He writes a regular marketing column for “Chief
Marketer Report” called BrandAnimation® and collaborates
with colleagues from around the world through his EMF blog,
The Burns/Hauser Report, co-authored by Prof. Neal M. Burns
of the University of Texas. The blog dissects the most current
and effective methodologies that inspire purchase and brand
loyalty.

Professional Vice President - Marie Artim
Marie Artim is the Assistant Vice President, Recruiting for Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
She is responsible for company-wide strategies and directives
that involve advertising, marketing, interactive media, training
and tools for the 200+ Enterprise Recruiters hiring over 8,000
college graduates each year.
Marie is a 1991 graduate of Purdue University with a BS in
Industrial Management and has been employed with Enterprise
since January 1992. She began her career in Chicago as a Management
Trainee and within one year was promoted to Assistant Branch
Manager. Marie became a part of the Chicago Human Resources
department in November 1993 and, over the next 7 years, held
several positions in Human Resources and Recruiting. In August
2000, she obtained the position of Corporate HR Manager, Recruiting.
Marie was named Assistant Vice President, Recruiting in June
2004.
Marie has conducted class presentations and career related
workshops at many universities and student conferences. She
also serves on advisory boards for Monster, Pi Sigma Epsilon
(a national sales and marketing fraternity), SIFE (Students
In Free Enterprise) and Bradley University.
Marie recently was elected to the Board of Directors for
the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)
and has also served as President of the Midwest Association
of Colleges and Employers.

Professional Vice President - Joe Ashbee
Joe has been a member of the Gamma Kappa chapter at the University of Akron
since 1999 and currently serves as the Alumni Advisor. He
is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Sales Management part-time
while having worked for the past ten years full-time in sales.
Joe is currently a Factory Sales Representative for The Step2
Company, LLC which is a leading manufacturer of rotationally
molded plastic children's toys as well as products for the
home & garden. Joe oversees a 17 state territory primarily
through the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic States and handles key
national accounts such as Big Lots, TJ Maxx/Marshalls, and
Navy Exchange Stores. Joe's chapter experience has seen him
serve as President, Executive Vice President, VP of Public
Relations, VP of Finance, and Director of Professional Development.
At the national level, he has served on National Council as
Collegiate Vice President for the 2002-2003 school year and
assisted council as Director of New Chapter Development for
2003-2004 while serving as a Professional Vice President from
2004 to present. He was also the recipient of the PSE Top
Salesperson Award for the 2001-2002 year. Joe is an active
member of SMEI Akron and has served on several committees
as well as the board.

Professional Vice
President - Amy Maris
Amy Maris has been a member of PSE since
she began college as a freshman at Arizona State University.
A member of Iota chapter, Amy has served in positions such
as New Member Treasurer, Vice President of Human Resources
for a year, President for two and half years, and Past President.
On a National level Amy was a Collegiate Vice President for
two years before becoming a Professional Vice President when
she graduated. She has experience working on numerous projects,
several times in a project manager position and re-chartered
ASU’s Mu Kappa Tau Chapter. Amy has won awards in PSE
including the Top Salesperson Award, William H. Harris Scholarship,
Anheuser Busch Scholarship, PSE Future Leader, 2nd in the
Pro-Am Sell-a-thon. Amy graduated in 2006 from Arizona State
University with a BS in Marketing, BS in Business Process
Management, International Business Certificate, Quality Analysis
Certificate, and minor in communication. Upon graduation she
worked in B2B sales position for a human resources and technology
company and Marketing Director for a healthcare facility.
Amy recently made a career change to education and is currently
a 5th grade teacher. She will graduate in May 2008 with a
Master’s in Education from Grand Canyon University.
A former racecar driver, Amy enjoys flying airplanes, volunteering
in the community, working with ASU’s marketing department,
scrap booking, and spending time with family and friends.

Ex-Officio, Executive Director – Ann Devine
Ann comes to PSE with a variety of business, academic, and
PSE experiences. Her background includes Marketing Manager
for a Fortune 1000 manufacturing company; business start-ups
such as five McDonald's in the Metro-Milwaukee area and the
dealer division for a DME manufacturer; and small business
consulting in turn-around situations. In 1990, Ann became
a full-time professor at Alverno College. She continued her
business connections by working as a contract employee with
a consulting firm in Cincinnati, OH that focuses on new product
development.
In 1989, Ann Devine chartered the Delta Omicron chapter at
Alverno College as a faculty advisor, and continued to serve
as an advisor for the next nine years. During that time, she
served on the PSE National Council, assisted as an Awards
judge, and attended the PSE National Conventions as an active
participant in the NCSM (National Conference in Sales Management).
Ann is a Past President of Sales and Marketing Executives
(SME) of Milwaukee and has served for several years on the
SMEI Board. She is also Past President of the Association
for Women Lawyers of WI, and the immediate Past President
of the Professional Fraternity of Executives Association and
the Professional Fraternity Association.
Ann received her Bachelor's Degree from Alverno College,
MBA from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and J.D. from
Marquette University Law School.

President – Lois Smith
Lois Smith is a professor in the Department of Marketing and assistant to the
Dean of the College of Business & Economics at the University
of Wisconsin - Whitewater. She is advisor to the Beta Gamma
Chapter of PSE, and she is past national president of the marketing
honorary, Mu Kappa Tau. She enjoys teaching marketing courses
primarily in promotions, buyer behavior, and marketing ethics.
Her research interests center on marketing pedagogy. Her Ph.D.
is from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and she is
a South Dakota native.

Collegiate Vice President
– Anne Crispen
Anne Crispen, a member of the Epsilon Lambda chapter at Purdue
University, is excited to be one of your 2008 Collegiate Vice
Presidents! Anne is majoring in Management, minoring in Marketing
and is expected to graduate in May of 2009! As she enters into
her fifth semester of membership with Pi Sigma Epsilon, her
list of accomplishments include the following: Pledge Class
Secretary, VP of Human Resources, an attendee at the Regional
Conferences in Fall '06 and '07, and Nationals Spring '07 and
'08. As she gets ready to enjoy the summer, she keeps in mind
her goal for the CVP position, and that is to use her PSE experiences
to help some of the struggling chapters grow and develop, and
to bring more schools and members to the Regional Conferences
and National Convention in Norfolk/Virginia Beach.

Professional Vice
President – Jeffrey Mount
Jeff Mount graduated from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee.
He started with Federated as a MDT in 1989. After training in
Atlanta in Federated’s training program he moved to Johnson
City, TN, where he was a marketing representative in the Tri-Cities
in Tennessee.
After 4 very successful years as an MR, in 1995 Jeff was
promoted to a District Marketing Manager position and moved
to San Jose, California, where he set new standards for the
DMM position.
In 1998 he was promoted to Regional Marketing Manager of
the South Central Region where he was responsible for North
Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama.
After 8 years of very consistent success and leadership,
Jeff became Director of Field Operations (Sept. 1, 2006).
Jeff and his wife Mary have three sons, Harrison (13), Landon
(11), and Anders (6) and reside in Franklin, TN.

Professional Vice
President - David Knox
As a Brand Manager on Wal-Mart Customer
Team for Personal Health Care and Feminine Care, Dave oversees
a $900MM+ portfolio of brands including Prilosec OTC, Vicks,
Always and Tampax. Before moving to the Wal-Mart Team, Dave
was the Teen External Relations Manager for P&G Beauty.
He was responsible for consulting P&G Beauty brands on
how best to leverage sponsorships, partnerships, branded entertainment,
influencer marketing, and other emerging communication vehicles
to win with teens. This work included leading P&G’s
relationship with Varsity Spirit Cheerleading, spearheading
beinggirl.com’s partnership with Sony BMG and crafting
FemCare’s first global cause marketing platform with
UNA-USA’s HERO program. Dave started his P&G career
on Secret Deodorant, responsible for launching the Secret
Sparkle Collection, which won the P&G Consumer is Boss
Award, Starcom “Fueling Brand Power” and an EFFIE
from the New York American Marketing Association. On Secret,
Dave crafted a variety of groundbreaking marketing programs
that have been featured in press such as the New York Times,
Forbes and Ad Age. These programs included P&G’s
first campaign with MySpace.com, the AIM Bot “SecretSparkle”
and marketing partnerships with Limited Too and Varsity Spirit.
Dave is a Professional Vice President on Pi Sigma Epsilon’s
National Council and has served on the Advisory Boards of
Brandweek’s “What Teens Want” and Ypulse’s
Teen Mash-up. Prior to joining P&G, Dave worked for Red
Bull Energy Drinks, Aware Records and FreshTracks Music. He
holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from
Miami University.

Collegiate Vice President
– Evan Westover
Evan Westover is a member from one of our newer chapters, Delta
Kappa at Baylor University! Evan is majoring in Professional
Sales and hopes to graduate in May 2009. He recently got a summer
internship with Enterprise Rent- A- Car. Evan currently serves
as the President of the Delta Kappa chapter and has held the
positions of VP of Administration and Convention Coordinator.
During this time Evan has truly shown his outstanding leadership
abilities as he led the chapter to win Best New Chapter at the
2008 Convention. His experiences in helping his chapter grow
this past year is what makes him want to support other chapters
as they grow and assist them to utilize all the benefits PSE
has to offer. Evan wants to help those struggling chapters get
on their feet running by guiding them in the direction to a
great core and executive board. Back
