First of all I want to congratulate you on a great 2008 National Convention. Dallas was awesome!! PSE is an organization that teaches so many vital business skills that cannot be learned merely through a classroom or textbook. This is a great organization and I stress that to my chapter every meeting. I feel PSE has changed my life in many ways and without PSE I would not be where I am today. I want to personally thank you for all your help and support throughout my collegiate career. I am honored to receive the William H. Harris Memorial Scholarship, this means more to me than words can express. I feel obligated to give back to PSE for so much it has given me. Upon graduation I would like to become a life member and active alumni for years to come. Again, I am honored to receive this scholarship and feel blessed to have had the experiences I have had while in PSE. Thank you and look forward to hearing from you soon.

I just wanted, on behalf of the rest of my chapter, to say thank you and the rest of the headquarters’ staff for all of the time and effort that you guys put into making convention one of which that we thoroughly enjoyed. Frank, Jackie, and I have been talking on the phone non-stop about all of what we experienced and are jumping out of our skin with excitement to be the hosts next year in Norfolk!

This past week was more than just an opportunity for us to showcase our chapter’s successes; it was a time which was spent making lifelong connections with people from around the country and understanding the true advantage that PSE provides…personal growth.

We have constantly expressed how this past week has truly impacted our lives. The array of emotions that we all experienced over the past several days have just enhanced our images not only of PSE and the rest of the amazing chapters across the country but to all of the individuals who have shown their support to our chapter over the past year as it was so clearly represented this week.

Allow me to once again say how much that we appreciate your hard work, time, and effort into making this year’s national convention one that Virginia Tech will never forget!

PSE National Educational Foundation Sales & Marketing Convention

The annual PSE National Convention is the climax of the PSE year. Each spring for over 50 years, nearly 500 PSE members (collegiate, alumni, educator, professional, associate and corporate representatives) join together for five days of professional programming and special activities. There is something for everyone at the Pi Sigma Epsilon National Convention including

A dynamic lineup of keynote speakers

Workshops and seminars that address current topics of interest

Opportunity to meet new people and renew old friendships

Five meals provided

Social activities

CCO Training

Pro-Am Sell-A-Thon

Chapter Roundtables

In addition, there are other prominent events such as the MarketPlace Career Fair, which features some of the nations top recruiters who are looking for PSE members to fill employment and internship positions.

The excitement culminates on Saturday evening with the Annual Banquet and National Awards Presentation, followed by dancing and karaoke.

The National Convention is an opportunity for each member to gain knowledge which may help improve the chapter, while benefiting him/herself personally and professionally. All members are strongly encouraged to attend the Pi Sigma Epsilon National Convention and experience PSE on a national level.
